There was a lot of traffic coming out of downtown Atlanta. Hundreds if not thousands of people had to have seen it. It was the largest brightest meteor I’ve ever seen and it was very close. I first thought it was a rocket or missile. I changed colors from white/yellow/green/orange and then it disappeared as it plummeted towards the ground ahead.

The fireball shot across the sky heading downward with a long trail of smoke that vanished once it flamed out. Looked like it must’ve had impact somewhere in the vicinity of John’s Creek or perhaps Cumming. Hard to judge the distance but it was in our sky and had to hit somewhere outside of Atlanta
